ERAS BOOKSTORE

Eras is a whimsical bookstore located in Oxford, MI, inspired by the timeless aesthetic of its' sister city, Oxford, England. Owner, Megan wanted to set her new business up for success with a brand that is light, romantic, and plays to the light academia aesthetic, inspired by classical English architecture and collegiate life. We worked together to create a full brand identity, as well as branded section signage for the store, custom merchandise design, and a beautifully branded gift card suite for a multitude of occassions.

BRAND GOAL

Charming, cozy, and inviting branding that has a touch of romance and makes the customer feel inspired and at home at this airy, whimsical bookstore and cafe.

DESIGN NOTES

To create the timeless light academia  vibe we wanted for Eras, I used a combination of soft, neutral tones really playing to the cozy aesthetic. We furthered the branding experience by incorporating charming, hand-illustrated floral motifs that add a touch of unexpected whimsy and promote the subtly romantic nature of the brand.
